The Best Sandpit

This summer wasn't much to cheer for.

The weather in Norway was cold and rainy.

This is a picture from our one and only beach trip this summer.

The picture is taken with Canon 5D Mark II with 35mm f/1.4L and a polarizing filter.

Hi Ernst,

Thanks ever so much for your beautiful Photo Contest Entry.

If that was the only day that was sunny, then all I can say is you captured the moment brilliantly!

The children look so happy, the colors are glorious.

Best of luck in the Contest

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
