Hi Chris,

Thanks for the entry into the Family Beach photo competition.

You stirred up my curiosity regarding where the picture was taken so I just had to go take a look at your website link!

What a beautiful website you have, I loved wandering through your pages. You really must enjoy the writing and researching process...congratulations and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Now the word Naturist peaked my curiosity so I managed to research a little information and I hope that you don't mind if I include it here together with your Photo entry for my visitors to read.

This link is to some interesting, frequently asked questions regarding Naturism for those who would like to know more.

Here in Australia we have several Naturist beaches.

In Victoria we have 4 Free Beaches (beach at which nudity is permitted)

* Sunnyside, near Mt Eliza
* Southside, near Anglesea
* Pt Impossibe, near Torquay
* Campbells Cove, near Point Cook

Though I am sure that these are really only enjoyed during the warmer months of Melbourne's year, December - April

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
