A Model in the Making

What a wonderful beach memory this brings to mind.

My husband's cousin from Texas was visiting and we had the opportunity to go to Stoney Creek Metro park in Michigan.

If was a wonderful day to be at the beach, not too hot and not too cool.

This was in 2005 and my daughter has grown a bit since then, but just as beautiful inside and out.

I so enjoyed our cousin's visit and she is actually the one who took the picture.

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
