Emerald Lake Park is beautiful parkland area situated high up into the mountain ranges of Mt Dandenong.

The park is unique in the fact that the world famous Puffing Billy steam train rides through the centre of it.

The Park provides an amazing array of picnic and recreational facilities for all ages.

No matter what time of the year you visit, the scenery is always incredible.

The 2 seasons that I love to visit the park in are Spring and Autumn.

In spring the azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom and in Autumn the deciduous trees lose their leaves and the shedding makes for a dream for anyone who loves to take photographs

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in Emerald Lake Park and of course when walking your animal, be courteous to others and make sure that you clean up and dispose of any doggie do-do’s.

Scattered throughout the lake park grounds you will find plenty of public areas set up to make your visit a memorable experience. Plenty of seating to rest and just take in the splendor.
