The Hedgend Maze is another one of my suggestions for a great Family Getaway.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful, quaint township of Healesville.

There are all sorts of different things to do there to create a totally fun filled family daytrip.

I have chosen a selection of tours that you can enjoy in and around the Hedgend Maze.

The Giant Maze is the main attraction and hidden throughout the tunnels of Cyprus hedge there are special clues to solving the puzzle.

There is a Secret Message to reveal. I will give you a little tip though...the left or the right hand rule gets you out of the Maze, however, watch out as you wander around as the clues are placed everywhere.

Read the instructions thoroughly because if you miss a clue you won't be able to solve the puzzle.

Once you have made your way through the giant Maze you can try your hand at solving the Mural puzzle game.

This is a colorful, hand painted mural depicting all things Aussie and is situated under the Lookout Tower.

Try finding all the things that have been disguised throughout this painting.

I loved this puzzle and had a great time with my granddaughter trying to complete the puzzle.

Now comes the real mind blowing brain teaser, the original Rainbow Puzzle Maze.

Yes it is possible to solve the complete puzzle, I'm afraid it beat me.

SuperNan was beaten, I didn't get past the second stage...but then again I can't do jigsaws either.

Years ago when I was studying Industrial Chemistry and there were two girls in a class of 48 boys, the Chemistry Department had to enter a contestant into the Miss Caulfield Tech' Contest.

Even in those days I was a bit of a dare-devil, so I put my hand up...didn't win...never mind.

I think that was the best time I had studying Chemistry at the Tech', because...
