Einstein and the Fire Hydrant

Einstein and the Fire Hydrant

This isn't exactly an "at the beach" photo, but it's funny so wanted to share it.

We were traveling back from a beach vacation with our little dog, Einstein.

He didn't travel very well so doing so was always an adventure.

We stopped for a rest along the highway.

While my wife was inside, I snapped a shot of Einstein, who had jumped up into my daughter's abandoned car seat.

I didn't realize until later that it looks like he is staring longingly at the fire hydrant.

Einstein was a great dog and a loyal friend.

Unfortunately, he has moved on to that big dog park in the sky.

But what great memories he has left behind

Talk about right time, right place snapshot!

Thanks for sharing the memory.

methinks..."What color are the fire hydrants in the big doggy park up there?"

Cheers,
Marylyn(SuperNan)

Cat called Einstein

Love the picture. I used to have a cat called Einstein, and a little white dog just like yours called Peanut. Both in pet heaven now, but they do leave such happy memories don't they?

Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
