The Melbourne Oceanic Aquarium is situated right on the Banks of the Yarra River and directly opposite the Crown Entertainment Complex.

This is a fantastic family getaway that is convenient to public transport, so you don't need to take the car into the city.

You can access The Aquarium riding the City Circle Tram.

The tram Stop No'2 on Route 48 is situated at the corner of Flinders and King Streets.

Enjoy a pleasant and historical ride on the Free City Circle Tram and hop off here to visit the Oceanic Aquarium only a few meters away.

This Aquarium houses 4 amazing, interactive 'Display Levels' with the most beautiful, exotic and interesting Creatures from our Southern Ocean, swimming leisurely through the waters.

Literally Thousands of exotic marine animals swim, crawl and glide throughout these oceanic waters.

Allow a good 2 or preferably 3 hours to thoroughly take in all that the Melbourne Aquarium has to offer and interact with the creatures from the deep.

Pack a picnic lunch or dinner hop onto the historic City Circle Tram and enjoy a great day out with the Family.

When you have finished your visit to the Oceanic Aquarium, hop back onto the City Circle Tram and Travel onto the next stop for more exciting adventures.

How To Get To The Oceanic Aquarium

Use your MYKI travel pass on all public transport.

For a complete time table and Route Planner just visit the Metlink Site. This will cover Trains, Buses, Trams or a combination of all or some modes of transport.

If you are coming in from The Country then have a look at the Vline Site ( http://www.vline.com.au/home/ ) for all your necessary details. Your Vline ticket covers all your Metropolitan Public Transportation.

Catch the Free City Circle Tram and hop off at the corner of Flinders and King Streets. It's just a short stroll to the Oceanarium.

If you would like to drive in just be aware that there is no on-site Parking. You can leave your car in the Crown Casino car park or park in one of the City Car Parks nearby.
