Each year I like to hold a small but fun photo contest where you can share a precious family memory with us all here on my website.

Each year we are able to enjoy each others lives in a small way and I hope that you all get as much pleasure out of the experience as much as I do.

We all get to visit different parts of the world and meet different people from other countries. Quite an exiting and modern day experience which never ceases to thrill me.

Photo Contest Winner 2013

    Father and Son at Inverloch

    by Yvonne Hogan

This year Yvonne's photo contest winner 2013 entry was chosen as it exemplifies what families all do at the beach!

Dads and Mums playing with their kids, teaching them great stuff and at the same time creating such great memories to treasure.

Beaches make for excellent places to capture some of those amazing family memories, memories that when you get older will delight you as you relive the moments.

Thank you Yvonne for allowing us all to share some of your memories, your photograph says it all.

Enjoy your prize, it's on its way to you now!

Check out the winning 2013 entry over here.

The prize on offer this year is an Online Shopping Voucher with

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
