Question

I am arriving by plane from Gold Coast to Tullamarine airport on 21st January.

Can you please tell me the best way to get to the Jika International Hotel in Fairfield, from the airport, via public transport.

Many thanks
Pam Borsella.

Answer

Hi Pam,

Great question as you had me doing some research!

Ok, here we go.

This is the best way to get to The Jika International Hotel in Fairfield

Street Address:

551 Heidelberg Road

(at Chandler Hwy Junction)

Fairfield VIC 3078

(03) 9481 2822

# Take the Skybus at the Melbourne Airport.

These run every 10 minutes or so 24 hrs @ day, at night less frequently.

There is no need to book your ticket as you can purchase it at the airport.

Travel all the way into Melbourne to the Southern Cross Railway Station

# Once there purchase a Zone 1 train ticket to Fairfield Station on the Hurstbridge line.

# Once at Fairfield Station you will then need to walk to the Hotel.

The Google Map below will provide you with your directions.

The Taxi option from the airport will cost you around $60, not exactly a cheap run but maybe more convenient.

If you need any more assistance please feel free to contact me.

I do hope that you will enjoy your stay and come back to see us again.
