David, Lin, Kelsey, and Cesar Family Vacation

Our daughter Kelsey and her husband Cesar came to visit us here in Huanchaco Beach, Peru.

So although we live here, we took time off to enjoy their vacation too.

The beach here is typical of a medium-sized town in a third-world country but with some nice features - good waves for surfing (world champion long-boarder Picolo Clemente is a native to this town) and many small restaurants catering to those with a seafood appetite.

Although our daughter suffers from a disease that affects here joints, she was able to get to the beach with us a few times, and this photo shows us happily enjoying the beautiful weather in this other "down-under" country.
