My Favorite Tattood Family

Delightful family with interesting Tattoos on Morro Strand State Beach, Morro Bay, CA.

This is the same delightful family with interesting Tattoos on Morro Strand State Beach that I photographed last year on the same spot on Oct 4, 2008

Posted at the set - shown here a year later 29 August 2009, with three children.

Photo by Michael "Mike" L. Baird, mike@,; Canon 5D, Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens, circular polarizer, handheld.

This is one of my favorite photos from my long walk on the Morro Stand today.

I love to come across people like this who are so friendly and fun.

Hi Mike,

Thanks so much for your entry!

Wouldn't it make for a great family album to have the same family photographed each year at Morro Strand?

Will the kids keep the family tradition of tattooing up?

Now that would make for an interesting coffee table book.

Best of luck Mate in the Contest!

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
