Southern Cross Station (formerly Spencer Street Station) is Melbourne’s main rail interchange for suburban, regional and interstate trains.
Southern Cross Station is located right on Docklands’ doorstep.
Exit the station at the northern end to walk across the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge via the Etihad Stadium concourse, to Docklands’ Harbour Esplanade.
You can also exit the station on the corner of Spencer and Collins streets and walk across the Collins Street Bridge to Docklands Park.

Melbourne Flames is a Dragon Boat club, based in Docklands, Melbourne.
Located at Shed 2 on the North Wharf.
Visitors to the Docklands often see these Dragon Boats out on the Victoria Harbour either competing in competitions, training or just celebrating events like the Chinese New Year.
The ultimate destination for watching fireworks on New Years Eve has to be the Docklands.
With over 5000 public car parks and Public transport so convenient, it is THE place to take the family to see in the New Year.
