Ben at Chelsea Beach

by Steve Curle
(Glen Waverley, Victoria, Australia)

We were on route home on a particularly lovely spring day.

We decided to stop off on route at Chelsea Beach.

Ben loves spending time playing in the sand on the beach.

Thanks Steve for such a cute photo.

Love Chelsea Beach on Port Phillip Bay.

A great beach for kids to play and swim.

Good parks and FREE BBQs as well with Chelsea Yacht Club in full swing in Summer.

Shops near by and close enough to Public Transport to make a trip to the beach easy for any family.

Best of luck in the contest.
Cheers,
Marylyn

Grew up down there in Chelsea!
In Roseberry Avenue.
Used to spend all summer holidays on the foreshore as we had a Bathing Box where we made so many memories.
Wish we still had that Bathing Box as my Grandkids would love to spend their holidays there I am sure.
Hope you win Steve!
Thanks for the memory jog.
Helen

Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
