Hunting for Seashells

"The Basin" at Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth is a family favorite.

We have spent many happy hours over the years snorkeling, exploring, reading and soaking up the sun in this magical beach.

I have added it to the contest entries and wish you all the best of luck. Thanks so much for taking the time to add a little story as well. Brings back many memories of my kids doing the same thing. Gosh! Memories of me doing the same thing!

Cheers,
Marylyn

And Don't Forget To Be Sun Smart

You cannot feel or see UV (Ultraviolet radiation). We can see the sun's light and we can feel the sun's warmth (the infrared radiation). Our senses don't pick up on UV radiation and this is why it is so damaging.

Right across Australia this UV radiation varies, it being determined by the time of day, time of year, the weather including cloud cover, how close to the equator the position is and other considerable scientific factors.
